The two forms below reach the Edutara team directly. Learners ask for a tutor through one, sending it themselves or through whoever registers them, tutors apply through the other, and a person at Edutara reads every message.

Find a tutor

Tell us what the learner is working towards: the class or exam, the board, the subjects, and whether lessons should happen at home or online. A person at Edutara reads the request and looks for a tutor who teaches exactly that.

A learner under 18 is registered by a parent or guardian, who gives the consent the law asks for.

Apply to teach

College students, graduates, retired teachers and teachers outside the school system can apply. Applying is free, tutors never pay Edutara anything, and after you apply you receive an email with the next steps.

Teachers who currently work in a school cannot apply: Section 28 of the RTE Act, 2009 bars them from private tuition.

The two forms above. Each one lands with the Edutara team, a person reads it the same way every time, and the reply comes to the phone number or email you give in the form.

Whatever a tutor would need to know: the class or exam, the board, the subjects, the topics that feel hardest, whether you prefer lessons in English or Hindi, and the days and times that suit you.

Sending the find-a-tutor form costs nothing. Edutara then sets the lesson fee for the class and subject, shows it to you at enrolment, and bills it by invoice, so you know the amount before you pay anything.
